125000552 - I61 DIPPED HEADLAMPS DO NOT LIGHT UP AS THEY SHOULD

One or both of the dipped headlamps do not light up the road at the desired distance, but point downwards. Warning: Presence of high voltage (25 kV) at the gas discharge bulb connector during the first 0.7 secs after the dipped headlamps have been turned on. Do not switch on the dipped headlamps when the discharge bulb connector is not correctly connected. Do not disconnect the discharge bulb connector with the dipped headlamps switched on. Handle the discharge bulb with clean, cloth gloves and never touch the glass bulb with your fingers. Do not reverse the polarity of the lamp supply lines or else the control unit will be irreversably damaged.
