Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on a lift.Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Drain the air conditioning refrigerant circuit    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM DEHYDRATE AND RECHARGE.Proceed with the removal    Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL R R.Proceed with the removal    Op. 4450B08 RIGHT REAR WHEEL R R.Proceed with the removal    Op. 1016A40 IGNITION COIL COVER ON CYLINDER HEAD- R+R.1. Disconnect the rapid connector for the pipe from the fuel vapour separator to the active charcoal filter, active charcoal filter side. 1. Undo the bolts and remove the power assisted steering box as far foward as necessary. Release the pipe from the fuel vapour separator to the active charcoal filter from the fastenings on the engine compartment bulkhead.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the protection (1b) for the fuel supply pipe and the pipe from the fuel vapour separator to the active charcoal filter. Proceed with the removal    Op. 1040A70 SUBMERGED PUMP ASSEMBLY COMPLETE WITH LEVEL GUAGE CONTROL - R + R.Release the handbrake boot and remove it.Proceed with the removal    Op. 1076B20 REAR EXHAUST SILENCER - R + R.Proceed with the removal    Op. 1076B30 FRONT EXHAUST SILENCER - R + R.Proceed with the removal    Op. 1040A10 FUEL TANK - R + R AND DECANT FUEL.Temporarily tighten the bolts fixing the rear suspension crossmember.Remove the hydraulic jack from beneath the crossmember.1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the flange (1b) for the pipe from the condenser to the intermediate connector, intermediate connector side.

Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

2. Release the air conditioning system pipes from the fastenings on the side panel. 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the supply and return pipes from the evaporator (1b), evaporator side. 1. Release the pipe from the fuel vapour separator to the active charcoal filter from the fastenings on the underbody and remove it. Refitting ( Removing ) Place the pipe from the fuel vapour separator to the active charcoal filter in position and secure it to the underbody using the fastenings.1. Connect the fuel supply and return pipes from the evaporator (1a), evaporator side and fasten them tightening the bolt (1b) to the recommended torque.

Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a refrigerant fluid.Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze. .

1. Secure the air conditioning system pipes to the side panels using the fastenings.2. Connect the flange for the pipe from the air conditioning condenser to the intermediate connector (2a), intermediate connector side and tighten the nut (2b) to the recommended torque.

Position a hydraulic jack under the rear suspension crossmember.Loosen the bolts fixing the rear suspension crossmember.Proceed with the refitting    Op. 1040A10 FUEL TANK - R + R AND DECANT FUEL.Proceed with the refitting    Op. 1076B30 FRONT EXHAUST SILENCER - R + R.Proceed with the refitting    Op. 1076B20 REAR EXHAUST SILENCER - R + R.Adjust handbrake lever travel    Op. 3380A04 HANDBRAKE - CHECK TRAVEL.Proceed with the refitting    Op. 1040A70 SUBMERGED PUMP ASSEMBLY COMPLETE WITH LEVEL GUAGE CONTROL - R + R.Place the protection for the fuel supply pipe and the pipe from the fuel vapour separator to the active charcoal filter in position and fasten them using the bolts.Fasten the pipe from the fuel vapour separator to the active charcoal filter using the fastenings on the engine compartment bulkhead.Position the power assisted steering box in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

Connect the rapid connector for the pipe from the fuel vapour separator to the active charcoal filter, active charcoal filter side.Proceed with the refitting    Op. 1016A40 IGNITION COIL COVER ON CYLINDER HEAD- R+R.Proceed with the refitting    Op. 4450B08 RIGHT REAR WHEEL R R.Proceed with the refitting    Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL R R.Refill the air conditioning refrigerant circuit    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM DEHYDRATE AND RECHARGE.Connect the negative battery terminal (-).Remove the vehicle from the lift.
