2923168 - 1056F82 Injection(ignition )system 'single/ CONTROL UNIT - R.R.

Removing ( Refitting ) Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the control unit protection (1b).
1. Disconnect the electrical connections (1a) and (1b) from the injection/ignition system control unit.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the bracket (1b) securing the fuel injection/ignition control unit.2. Remove the injection/ignition system control unit, releasing it from the support.
Refitting ( Removing ) .
If the injection/ignition control unit is replaced, initialise the new control unit  - 1056F81  CARRYING OUT of SELF-LEARNING procedure for CONTROL UNIT (single) electronic injection/ignition .
Refit the fuel injection/ignition control unit in its seating and secure it with its bolt.Connect the electrical connections to the fuel injection/ignition control unit.Place the control unit protection back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal Removing ( Refitting )

  • Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the battery terminal (-).

  • Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the control unit protection (1b).
1. Disconnect the electrical connections (1a) and (1b) from the injection/ignition system control unit.

2. Unscrew bolt (2a) and remove bracket (2b) securing the injection/ignition system control unit.

  • Remove the injection/ignition system control unit by withdrawing from the mount.
Refitting ( Removing )
If the injection/ignition control unit is replaced, run the control unit initialisation procedure [PR1056F81].

  • Refit the injection/ignition system control unit in its housing and secure with the bolt.
  • Connect the electrical connections to the injection/ignition system control unit.
  • Place the control unit protection in its housing and secure it using the bolts.
  • Connect the negative battery terminal (-).
