Removing ( Refitting )

  • Open the bonnet.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

  • Release the retainers (1a) and remove the cover (1b).
  • Undo the bolts fixing the motor.
  • Disconnect the motor shaft (3a) from the retainer (3b).
  • Move the motor slightly and disconnect the electrical connection.
  • Keep the motor.
Refitting ( Removing )

  • Check that the motor is not damaged and, if necessary, conduct an electrical test.
  • Connect the electrical connection.
  • Connect the motor shaft to the retainer.
  • Position the motor and secure it using the bolts.
  • Position the cover and attach the retainers.
  • Connect the negative battery terminal.
  • Close the bonnet.
