125000438 - INTRODUCTION - REAR SEATS
SPECIFICATIONS
The rear seat folds down separately (60% - 40%), with side fillers anchored to the bodywork. The squab has a central armrest which, when lowered, gives access to a flap which communicates with the luggage compartment. This space allows long objects to be transported without having to lower the squab. The rear seats are also fitted with squabs built to ensure maximum occupant safety in the case of various types of impact. They also prevent items in the luggage compartment from being propelled forward. At the base of the squab there are the mountings for the seat belt buckles. At the top of the squab, there is an embellishment for securing the central seat belt section, when not in use.The rear cushions come with a pressed steel base with antislip profile that forms an effective antisubmarining structure in conjunction with the beam welded to the rear floor pan.The rear seat squab can be folded separately 40/60%. This feature is standard on all cars. A fold-down arm-rest is located on the squab between the two side seats. The seats are fitted with two head restraints for the side seats, which can be adjusted to two positions, and a third head restraint for the central seat with the same specifications. Versions with a third head restraint also come with a central inertia reel seat belt.To fold the seat, proceed as follows:
- Tilt the cushion.
- Remove the rear head restraints and secure them in their specific seats in the cushion.
- Operate the side locks and fold down the squab until a single load compartment, comprising the luggage compartment, is obtained. The side locks have a sight check system for checking that the squab is correctly engaged.
