Proceed with removal Op. 1016A42 LEFT HAND CYLINDER HEAD IGNITION COIL COVER - R+R.Proceed with removal Op. 5510C16 LEFT HAND CYLINDER HEAD IGNITION COIL - R+R.Proceed with removal Op. 1048A28 VACUUM AIR CIRCUIT RESONATOR PIPE - R+R.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and move the cable duct (1b) to the side.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the upper protective timing cover (1b).

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and the bolt (1b), then remove the bracket (1c).

1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the earth lead (1b) from the left tappet cover.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the oil vapour recovery pipe from the left tappet cover.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the left side tappet cover (1b) complete with gasket.

One of the bolts fixing the tappet cover also fastens the engine oil dipstick guide pipe mounting bracket.

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Place the left tappet cover (1a), complete with gasket, back in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

Connect the engine oil vapour recovery pipe to the left tappet cover and tighten the band.Connect the earth lead to the left tappet cover and secure it using the nut.Place the bracket back in its housing and secure it using the bolts.Fit the upper protective timing gear cover and fix it using the bolts.Place the cable duct back in its housing in the left tappet cover and fix it using the bolts.Proceed with refitting Op. 1048A28 VACUUM AIR CIRCUIT RESONATOR PIPE - R+R.Proceed with refitting Op. 5510C16 LEFT HAND CYLINDER HEAD IGNITION COIL - R+R.Proceed with refitting Op. 1016A42 LEFT HAND CYLINDER HEAD IGNITION COIL COVER - R+R.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
