1Alternator See A10 ALTERNATOR
2. Loosen the band (2a) and move the electrical wiring (2b).3. Undo the connector (3a) and disconnect the engine oil supply pipe to the cooling radiator (3b), engine oil cartridge filter mounting side.
Collect the engine oil that comes out in a suitable container.
4. Undo the upper bolt (4a) and the nut (4b) fixing the catridge engine oil filter mounting.5. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

6. Undo and remove the cartridge engine oil filter using a suitable tool.
Collect the engine oil that comes out in a suitable container.
1. Loosen the tension for the auxiliary drive belt using the tensioner.2. Lock the tensioner (2a) in place so that the belt is slack by inserting a pin (2b).3. Release and remove the auxiliary drivebelt.
1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine oil temperature sender unit.2. Undo the bolt (2a) and remove the engine components single belt fixed tensioner (2b).3. Undo the lower bolt (3a), loosen the upper bolt (3b) and rotate the alternator (3c) upwards locking it in position using the upper bolt.
1. Undo the nut (1a) and remove the bracket (1b) supporting the engine oil/power assisted steering pipes.
1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the lower bracket (1b) supporting the engine oil/power assisted steering pipes.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the upper bracket (2b) supporting the engine oil/power assisted steering pipes.
1. Undo the connector (1a) and disconnect the engine oil return pipe to the cooling radiator (1b), engine oil cartridge filter mounting side.
1. Undo the bolts fixing the alternator mounting to the crankcase.
1. Unscrew the bolt securing the right rear timing belt cover to the alternator spacer.2. Undo the lower bolt fixing the alternator mount spacer bracket to the crankcase.3. Undo the upper bolt securing the alternator mount spacer bracket to the right cylinder head.4. Move the alternator assembly (4a), alternator mounting (4b) and alternator mounting spacer bracket (4c) away from the engine block.
1. Undo the nuts (1a) and bolts (1b) and remove the cartridge engine oil filter support (1c).2. Remove the gasket.
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Place the cartridge engine oil filter mounting (1a) in position complete with gasket (1b) and secure it tightening the bolts (1c) and the nuts (1d) to the recommended torque.

Place the alternator assembly, alternator mounting and alternator mounting spacer bracket in its housing.Tighten the bolts securing the alternator spacer bracket.Tighten the bolt securing the right rear timing belt cover to the alternator spacer.1. Tighten the bolts fixing the alternator mounting to the engine block to the recommended torque.

1. Connect the engine oil return pipe to the cooling radiator (1a), engine oil cartridge filter mounting side and tighten the connector (1b) to the recommended torque.

Place the engine oil/power assisted steering pipes upper mounting bracket in its housing and secure it using the bolts.Place the engine oil/power assisted steering pipes lower mounting bracket in its housing and secure it using the bolt.Place the engine oil/power assisted steering pipes mounting bracket in its housing and secure it using the nut.1. Tighten the alternator fixing bolts to the recommended torque.

3. Connect the electrical connection to the engine oil temperature sender unit.
Fit the engine components single drive belt.Adjust the mobile tensioner with a wrench until the pin can be withdrawn.1. Lubricate the seal with engine oil and fit the engine oil filter tightening it fully by hand.2. Connect the electrical connection to the engine oil pressure warning light switch.3. Connect the engine oil supply pipe to the cooling radiator (3a), engine oil cartridge filter mounting side and tighten the connector (3b) to the recommended torque.
