125001525 - 5040A40 AIR CONDITIONER CONDENSER - R+R

Removing ( Refitting ) Observe the following precaution.
Follow the safety instructions (    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS).
Drain the refrigerant (    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM DEHYDRATE AND RECHARGE).    Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R    Op. 7055B64 LH OR RH REFLECTOR(ONE) ON REAR BUMPERS - R R    Op. 7055B42 LH OR RH REFLECTOR(ONE) ON REAR BUMPERS - R R    Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER1. Undo the bolt fixing the radiator/condenser upper support.2. Move the radiator/condenser assembly slightly backwards.
1. Working in front of the right front wheel, release the buttons retaining the air duct using the special tool.

2. Undo the bolts fixing the air duct.3. Remove the air duct.
1. Undo the bolts and disconnect the connectors for the climate control system pipes from the condenser.
Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.
1. Release the air duct retaining buttons using the special tool.

2. Undo the bolts fixing the air duct to the radiator.3. Undo the bolts fixing the condenser.4. Remove the condenser (4a) and the air duct (4b) together.
Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the condenser is intact and is not damaged and does not have deposits of dirt on the finned surface.Place the condenser and the duct in position together.Tighten the condenser fixing bolts.Tighten the bolts fixing the air duct to the radiator.Engage the air duct retaining buttons.
Replace the O-rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A refrigerant. Lubricate the thread of the connectors using anti-freeze.
Connect the connectors for the climate control system pipes and tighten the bolts.
