Once removed, the rain sensor can no longer be reused and must be replaced.

4. Move the rain sensor unit slightly.5. Disconnect the electrical connection and recover the sensor.

Refitting ( Removing

) Op. 5050B64 RAIN SENSOR ELECTRONIC UNIT R R.Thoroughly clean the inside of the windscreen by the sensor housing. Use a degreasing product.Connect the sensor''s electrical connection.Remove the protection from the jelly-like surface of the new sensor, then place it in position.

During this stage, take care not to touch the jelly-like surface with your hands.
