125000843 - 0010T62 POWER STEERING FLUID CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY

  • Position the vehicle on a lift.

  • Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve on one brake caliper.
  • Connect the recovery device (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the brake calliper.
  • Open the bleed valve on the brake caliper.

  • Operate the brake pedal until all the fluid emerges.
  • Repeat the operations described above for the remaining brake calipers.

  • Open the protective cover.
  • Connect the recovery device (pipe and reservoir) to the clutch hydraulic actuator fitting.
  • Raise the retaining clip (3a) until the first click is heard and remove pipe (3b) by a sufficient amount to uncover the bleed hole.

  • Operate the clutch pedal until the circuit is completely empty.

  • Connect the tool to the brake/clutch fluid reservoir.

  • Wait for all the air in the hydraulic brake-clutch system to escape.
  • Close the bleed valves on the brake callipers and fit protective plugs.
  • Fit the pipe fully home in its seat on the hydraulic clutch actuator and secure with the retaining clip, then close the protective cover.
  • Remove the fluid recovery devices.
  • Remove the equipment.
