Functional description

The earths on the vehicle are divided according to the various wiring they belong to.

Radiator wiring:

• battery earth, C01A

Front wiring:

• left front earth, C10
• right front earth, C11
• ABS front earth (at left corner), C12
• battery earth, C01B (JTD version only)
• battery earth, C01C (JTS version only)

Dashboard wiring:

• driver''s dashboard earth, C15A
• driver''s dashboard earth, C15B
• Air Bag system earth, C50A

Rear wiring:

• driver''s dashboard earth, C15C
• left rear earth, C30
• earth on centre tunnel, C38
• Air Bag system earth, C50B

Tailgate wiring:

• rearscreen earth. C32

Battery negative wiring:

• battery earth on engine (on gearbox), C02
• battery earth on bodyshell, C03

Engine wiring:

• earth on engine, C40A-B

Air conditioning wiring:

• air conditioning unit earth (on right side of dashboard), C16

BOSE system wiring:

• Bose system earth, C65
