Functional description

The integrated radio-telephone-navigatorP20is supplied directly (7 of connector A) by the battery via the line of fuse F39 of the unit under the dashboardB2and maxifuse CPL ofB99.The supply to the side lights on reaches pin 4 of connector A    See E2530 INSTRUMENT LIGHTING.Pins 1 and 3 of connector A receive the CAN line with which the displayP20is connected to the Body ComputerM1and the other nodes of the system. Pin 8 of connector A is earthed.The aerialP25is supplied from pin 5 of connector A. The GSM aerial is connected to the telephone function also via the appropriate coaxial cable.Connector B of P20 is the source of the cables carrying signals to the loudspeakers used for the hands-free function.    See E3510 RADIOPins 10 and 11 of connector C ofP20are connected to the steering wheel controls: the connection is via the clock springD47; the device which controls the control buttons receives a supply controlled by the ignition (INT) from the line protected by the fuse F51 of the unit under the dashboardB2, while the reference earth arrives from pin 12 of connector C ofP20.Pins 9 and 18 of connector D ofP20are connected to the microphoneP26; pin 12 of connector D is earthed.The external telephone receiverP27is supplied via the line of fuse F39 of the unit under the dashboardB2, and is connected to connector D ofP20, at pins 6, 7, 8, 16 and 17.
