125000604 - K53 I.E. FAILURE WARNING LIGHT OFF / (DO NOT CARRY OUT INITIAL TEST)

The engine management control unit warning light does not come on. The CODE warning light comes on and goes out as normal on versions with low line instruments, whilst it does not come on on versions with high line instruments.
The CODE light going out normally on low line versions and not coming on on high line versions means that the dialogue between the two control units has had a positive outcome. The failure of the engine management control unit warning light to come on is due to a fault in the warning light operating circuit. The failure to come on is caused by supply system problems.
