The handbrake should only be adjusted after replacement of: - rear brake pads - handbrake cables - rear brake calipers as the play caused by wear is recovered automatically.

Position the vehicle on the rampRemove the handbrake boot.Disconnect the handbrake calbes from the brake calipers.Operate the brake pedal vigorously at least ten times.Connect the handbrake cables to the brake calipers.Move the handbrake lever to the third click on the sector gear.Tighten the adjustment nut on the handbrake lever until the rear wheels are not braked.Check that when the lever is in the rest position, the rear wheels rotate freely.Place the handbrake boot back in its housing.Remove the car from the ramps.
