Position the vehicle on the rampProceed with removal Op. 4450B10 TYRE INFLATION VALVE CAP - REPLACEProceed with removalProceed with removal Op. 4410A80 DAMPER LOWER FORK - R R1. Fit the flanges (1a) on the tool (1b). Op. 4410A10 L/H OR R/H FRONT SUSPENSION SPRING/DAMPER UNIT (ONE) - R+R - CHECK WHEEL GEOMETRY SEPARATELY IF NECESSARY

1. Fit the spring/shock absorber assembly on the support tool and compress it.

The spring/shock absorber assembly must be fitted to the tool with the tab on the lower part of the shock absorber turned downward.

Use the top left and bottom right holes in the flange for the right shock absorber; Use the bottom left and top right holes in the flange for the left shock absorber;

1. Undo the nut (1a) for the upper shock absorber buffer using tools (1b) and (1c).

1. Loosen the compression tool and remove spring (1a), shock absorber (1b), upper plate (1c), and upper buffer (1d).

1. Fit the locating key on the tool and secure using the bolt.

1. Assemble the shock absorber-spring assembly components and fit the assembly to the compression tool, then compress.

The reference hole on the upper plate should be turned downward and the timing references on the shock absorber stem must be aligned with the locating key.

Remove the locating key.1. Tighten the nut (1a) for the shock absorber upper buffer to the recommended torque using tools (1b) and (1c).

Loosen the compression tool and remove the spring/shock absorber assembly.Proceed with refitting Op. 4410A10 L/H OR R/H FRONT SUSPENSION SPRING/DAMPER UNIT (ONE) - R+R - CHECK WHEEL GEOMETRY SEPARATELY IF NECESSARY.Proceed with refitting Op. 4410A80 DAMPER LOWER FORK - R R.Proceed with refitting Op. 4450B10 TYRE INFLATION VALVE CAP - REPLACE.Remove the car from the ramps.Proceed with refitting Op. 4450A10 FRONT WHEEL GEOMETRY - CHECK USING OPTICAL EQUIPMENT - INCLUDES FRONT WHEEL TOW-IN ADJUSTMENT IF NECESSARY.
