) Position the vehicle on the rampProceed with removal Op. 4450B11 TYRE INFLATION VALVE CAP - REPLACE1. Undo bolts (1a) and remove protection (1b).

1. Undo the bolt fixing the rear suspension tie rod to the stub axle.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the rear suspension tie rod (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Refit the rear suspension tie rod (1a) in its seating and secure to the body by tightening bolts (1b) to the specified torque.

2. Screw in the nut for the rear longitudinal anchorage strut (1a) to the stub axle without tightening it.

1. Place the suspension in a geometric configuration so that the difference in height between dimension D-C is 13 mm.

this distance is valid for all versions and does not depend on the weight of the vehicle and is designed to prevent torsional pre-loading of the flexible bushes.

1. Tighten the bolt securing the rear suspension tie rod to the stub axle to the specified torque.

Place the protection back in its housing and secure it using the bolt.Proceed with refitting Op. 4450B11 TYRE INFLATION VALVE CAP - REPLACE.Remove the car from the ramps.Proceed with refitting Op. 4450A40 REAR WHEEL GEOMETRY - CHECK USING OPTICAL EQUIPMENT.
