Description
The vehicle climate control system is achieved through the duct/distributor unit and heater.The climate is controlled by means of three control knobs on the facia:
- the left knob controls the hot and cold air mixing flap;
- the right knob controls the opening of the flaps that regulate the distribution of air flows;
- the centre knob regulates the air ventilation at four different speeds;
- the right button switches the heated rear windscreen on and lights up the LED. See E3030 HEATED REAR WINDSCREEN AND DOOR MIRROR DEFROSTING.
- If the centre button is pressed it switches on the air recirculation function; the LED comes on when the button is pressed. If the button is not pressed, "dynamic" air from the outside flows through.
A special control unit manages the operation of the system by controlling:
- air distribution at the vents;
- fan speed (continuous variation);
- air recirculation engagement;
