1. If adjustment is made after removing the door, tighten the hinge bolts to the specified torque.

2. If the hinges were removed from the door previously, tighten the hinge bolts. 3. Undo the bolt (3a) of the door check strap (3b) and close the door again to push the check strap back in.
1. Loosen the bolts securing the hinges to the bodyshell.2. Adjust the door position, making use of the bolt slots, so that it is perfectly aligned with the body.
It is advisable to work on one hinge at a time. Possible adjustment movements are indicated by arrows.
Fit shims between hinge and door if necessary to ensure the door is adjusted properly, proceeding as follows (the hinge position is adjusted using the door as reference). Remove the door striker, see op. 7010B143. Loosen the bolts securing the hinges to the bodysheel.4. Fit the shims.Screw in the bolts without tightening.Adjust the door position, making use of the movements of the bolt attachment plate, so that it is perfectly aligned with the body. Refit the door striker.  Refer to op.. 7010B14  rear side door catch striker r r5. After adjustment, tighten the bolts securing the hinges to the bodyshell.

Touch up the paintwork in the hinge area.Make the door check strap come out and tighten the bolts.
