) Position the vehicle on the ramp1. Undo the nuts fixing the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter to the exhaust pipe.

1. Undo bolt (1a) securing the central bracket (1b) supporting the exhaust pipe. 2. Undo bolt (2a) securing exhaust pipe mount front bracket (2b). Release the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold/converter and secure it as appropriate to the bodyshell.

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the front heat shield (1b).

1. Open the band retaining the handbrake cable. 2. Undo the nuts (2a), remove the clip (2b) and remove the central heat shield (2c).

1. Undo bolts (1a), remove plastic studs (1b) and remove the exhaust silencer mount. 2. Release the intermediate silencer (2a) from the flexible block (2b) and arrange on the rear axle. 3. Undo bolt (3a), remove clips (3b) and remove the exhaust pipe rear heat shield (3c).

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the rear heat shield for the exhaust pipe back in its housing and secure it using the retaining clips. Fix the exhaust silencer to the flexible block. Tighten the bolt and fit the silencer mount plastic studs. Refit the rear heat shield in its seating, then secure it with the clip and nuts.Secure the handbrake cables using the retaining bands. Place the front het shield back in its housing and fix it using the boltsConnect the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold with catalytic converter. Tighten the bolt fixing the exhaust pipe front mounting bracket. Tighten the bolt securing the central exhaust pipe mounting brackets1. Tighten the nuts fixing the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter to the exhaust silencer to the recommended torque.

Remove the car from the ramps.
