Removing ( Refitting )  - 7040A37  fuse box cover - r r - 5505A35  BODY COMPUTER/MAIN JUNCTION UNIT - R.R.1. Release the retainers (1a), separate the junction unit (1b) from the body computer (1c). Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the body computer is undamaged.At the bench, connect the junction unit from the body computer and attach the retainers. - 5505A35  BODY COMPUTER/MAIN JUNCTION UNIT - R.R.If the body computer is being replaced, proceed as follows:

If the Body Computer is replaced, an identical copy of the Body Computer should be ordered from parts as a rush delivery, giving the vehicle chassis number. This copy will contain all the default settings entered when the vehicle was new that are stored in the Parts database with the vehicle chassis number.

If the same body computer that was removed is being refitted on the vehicle, check that the system has not picked up any errors during the operation using the Examiner.  - 7040A37  fuse box cover - r rTest the electrical system.
