2398866 - K143 ONE WARNING LIGHT ACTIVATED BY STEERING COLUMN SWITCH UNIT NOT WORKING

When the lights are switched on from the stalk unit, the relevant warning light on the instrument panel does not come on.

The warning lights which come on when the stalk unit is operated are:

  • Side/number plate lights
  • Main beam headlamps
  • Direction indicators

With the ignition on, operate all the lights in question from the stalk unit, i.e.:

  • With the ring nut, side/number plate lights
  • With the lever, main beam headlamps (both permanently lit and flashing)
  • With the lever, direction indicators (right and left)
and check that they come on
