The vehicle is equipped with two tow rings located in the luggage compartment below the carpet lining, one in the tool container and the other in a special container. The two tow hooks differ from one another in their length: the shortest must be fitted at the front and the longest must be fitted at the rear. Fully tighten the relevant ring on the front or rear threaded pin after removing the plug on the bumpers as described below.

To remove the front tow hook plug, proceed as follows:

• move the metal clip located on the side of plug (1) in the direction arrowed in the figure
• prise off the plug, which remains attached to the bumper by means of a safety cord.

To remove the rear tow hook plug, proceed as follows:

• insert a flat-ended screwdriver inside the slot (1) on plug (2)
• rest your thumb oin the plug to avoid damage to it as shown in the figure
• remove the plug (without turning it) by moving it at right angles to the support surface.
