Notify the Customer that to ensure the smooth running of the vehicle, in addition to observing the intervals indicated in the Planned Maintenance Programme and the Annual Inspection Plan, they should also follow the recommendations given below as well as the instructions in the Owner's Handbook.Every 1000 km or before long journeys, check and, if necessary, top up:
- engine coolant level
- brake fluid level;
- battery fluid level
- windscreen washer fluid level
- tyre inflation pressure and condition
Every 3000 km check and if necessary top up:
- engine oil level
Every 5000 km or when the appropriate warning light or message is displayed on the instrument panel (only for diesel versions), proceed as follows:
- bleed the condensation water from the fuel filter.
It is advisable to change the engine oil more frequently than stated in the Routine Maintenance Plan if the vehicle is used predominantly in one of the following conditions:
- towing a trailer or caravan
- dusty roads
- short (less than 7-8 km) and frequent journeys at sub-zero temperatures
- engine often idling or vehicle driven for long distances at low speed (e.g. taxi service or door to door deliveries or long periods of inactivity)
