Refitting

Position the vehicle on the ramp1. Open the band retaining the handbrake cable.2. Undo the nuts (2a), remove the clip (2b) and remove the heat
shield (2c).
1. Undo the exhaust silencer mounting fixing bolt.2. Release the flexible mounting and lower the exhaust silencer.3. Remove the clips (3a) and remove the heat shield (3b).
Refitting

Place the heat shield back in its housing
and secure it using the clips.Place the exhaust silencer back in its
housing and support it using the flexible mounting.Tighten the bolt fixing the exhaust silencer
mounting.Place the heat shield back in its housing,
then fasten it using the clip and the nuts.Fasten the handbrake cable using the band.Remove the car from the ramps.
