Position the vehicle on the ramp1. Trace the cutting line to the specified dimension on the exhaust
pipe.
1. Undo the bolt securing the exhaust pipe rear mounting to the
bodyshell.
1. Release the exhaust pipe flexible blocks.
Lower the rear exhaust silencer as much
as possible.Secure the central exhaust pipe to the
bodyshell.1. Using a suitable tool, cut the exhaust pipe on the line previously
drawn.2. Remove the rear exhaust silencer.
Refitting

Using a file, remove the bevel on the cut
end of the central exhaust pipe.1. Refit in its seating the new rear exhaust silencer.2. Join the rear exhaust silencer to the central exhaust pipe using
the metal band supplied by Parts with the rear exhaust silencer. 3. Tighten the nut on the metal band.
Connect the flexible mountings on the rear
exhaust silencer.Tighten the bolt securing the exhaust pipe
rear mounting to the bodyshell.Remove the car from the ramps.
