2400181 - 1088D24 rigid pipe for coolant inlet to water pump - r + r

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the rampEnsure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

Proceed with removal Proceed with removal  - 1064A11  TURBOCHARGER with CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R.1. Undo the bolts fixing the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, crankcase side.2. Undo the bolts fixing the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, heat exchange side.3. Move aside the pipe carrying coolant to the engine oil heat exchanger (3a) complete with seal (3b).
Recover the coolant which comes out in a suitable container.
1. Loosen the collar (1a) undo bolt (1b) and remove the water pump rigid inlet pipe (1c) complete with o-ring.
Refitting ( Removing ) Place the water pump rigid inlet pipe, complete with o-ring, back in its housing and then tighten the bolt and collar.
Fit the rigid pipe into the crankcase very carefully to ensure the o-ring is corectly positioned.
Refit the coolant intake pipe t the engine oil heat exchanger, complete with gasket, back in its housing and secure it by tightening the bolts t the heat exchanger.
Fold back the gasket tabs
Tighten the coolant inlet hose bolt to the engine oil heat exchanger, crankcase side. Proceed with refitting  - 1064A11  TURBOCHARGER with CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R. . Refill the engine cooling system with coolant  - 0010T20  coolant change . Proceed with refitting . Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
