2400245 - 1072C10 exhaust manifold - r + r and replace seal

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the rampEnsure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

Proceed with removal Proceed with removal  - 1064A11  TURBOCHARGER with CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R.1. Undo the bolt securing the coolant inlet pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, engine block side.2. Undo the bolts fixing the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, heat exchange side.3. Move aside the pipe carrying coolant to the engine oil heat exchanger (3a) complete with seal (3b).

Recover the coolant which comes out in a suitable container.

1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the exhaust manifold (1b).2. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket. Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Place a new exhaust manifold gasket in the housing.2. Place the exhaust manifold (2a) back in its housing and fix it tightening the nuts (2b) to the recommended torque.

Refit in its seating the coolant inlet pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, complete with gasket, and secure it with the bolts to the engine oil heat exchanger.

Fold back the gasket tabs

Tighten the coolant inlet hose bolt to the engine oil heat exchanger, crankcase side. Proceed with refitting  - 1064A11  TURBOCHARGER with CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R. . Proceed with refitting . Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the car from the ramps.
