2400266 - 1084C12 Engine oil HEAT EXCHANGER, complete with engine oil filler and filter - R.R.

Removing ( Refitting ) Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the air flow meter.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the the turbocharger air inlet sleeve from the rigid pipe, air flow meter side.
1. Remove the air filter (1a) complete with air flow meter (1b) by releasing from the underlying pins and then from the rear fastenings.
1. Loosen the band and disconnect the lower radiator coolant outlet hose from the radiator, engine oil heat exchanger end.
Drain the coolant into a suitable container.
1. Undo the connectors (1a) and remove the engine oil supply pipe to the turbocharger (1b).
1. Undo the bolts fixing the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, crankcase side.2. Undo the bolts fixing the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, heat exchanger side.3. Move aside the pipe carrying coolant to the engine oil heat exchanger (3a) complete with seal (3b).
1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the engine oil heat exchanger complete with filter and engine oil filler (1b) and gasket.
Recover the engine oil which comes out in a suitable container.
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Refit in its seating the engine oil heat exchanger complete with filter and engine oil filler (1a) and gasket, and secure with the bolts (1b) to the specified torque.
Make sure that the gasket is undamaged and correctly positioned.

Refit in its seating the coolant inlet pipe into the engine oil heat exchanger complete with gasket.
Fold back the gasket tabs
Undo the bolts fixing the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, heat exchanger side, to the specified torque.Tighten the coolant inlet hose bolt to the engine oil heat exchanger, crankcase side.1. Connect the engine oil supply pipe to the turbocharger (1a) and secure by tightening the connectors (1b) to the recommended torque.
Replace the copper washers for the connectors.

Refit the lower coolant outlet sleeve from the radiator, engine oil heat exchanger end, and tighten the band.Replace the air filter, complete with air flow meter, in its housing.Connect the air intake sleeve to the turbocharger, air flow meter side, and tighten the band.Connect the electrical connection to the air flow meter.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. Refill the engine cooling system with coolant  - 0010T20  coolant change .
