Removing ( Refitting

) Position the vehicle on the ramp1. Open the intermediate connector and disconnect the rigid pipes.

Recover the emerging coolant , then plug the hoses to limit the outflow.

1. Release the handbrake cables from the fastenings on the fuel tank and on the rear suspension.

1. Place an appropriate stand under the fuel tank to support it.2. Release the rigid pipe from the connector to the intermediate hose from the intermediate fastenings.3. Undo the bolts fixing the brackets for the fuel tank to the bodyshell and lower it using the support equipment.

1. Remove the retaining clips.2. Unscrew fitting (2a) and remove rigid pipe from connector to intermediate hose (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the rigid pipe from connector to intermediate hose and tighten the connectors to the recommended torque.

Refit the retaining clip in its seat.Place it in its housing, then tighten the bolts fixing the fuel tank brackets to the bodyshell.Fasten the rigid pipe from the connector to the intermediate hose to the intermediate fastenings.Remove the equipment used for supporting the fuel tank.Secure the handbrake cables using the fastenings to the fuel tank and to the rear suspension. Proceed with refitting - 0010T64 brake and or clutch fluid check level and top up as necessary . Proceed with refitting - 0010T65 hydraulic brake system bleed air . Remove the car from the ramps.
