2400744 - 7015A10 tailgate - adjust striker and adapt seal if necessary

Open the tailgate.1. Check along the whole perimeter that the tailgate seal is inserted fully in its seating. 2. If necessary, adjust the buffer blocks.If necessary, adjust the position of the striker as described below  Refer to op.. 7040B22  luggage compartment/load platform moulding - r+r3. Loosen the bolts fixing the lock striker.4. Adjust the striker position, making use of its slotted holes. Permitted adjustment movements are indicated by arrows. 5. Tighten the fixing bolts.

Refit the moulding.Check that the striker and catch fit together properly and are aligned when the tailgate is closed.
