) Ensure that the ignition key is in OFF position, then disconnect the battery negative terminal (-).

Proceed with removal - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . 1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the EGR solenoid.

2. Tighten the bolts securing the E.G.R. solenoid to the E.G.R. water/exhaust gas heat exchanger.3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the E.G.R. solenoid (3b).Remove the gasket.

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit in its seating the E.G.R. solenoid complete with gasket and secure it with the bolts.Tighten the bolts securing the E.G.R. solenoid to the E.G.R. water/exhaust gas heat exchanger.Connect the electrical connection to the EGR solenoid. Proceed with refitting - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
