) Position the vehicle on the ramp. - 7040B10 load platform (luggage platform) trim - r+r . - 1040A70 submerged pump assembly complete with level guage control - r + r . Drain the fuel from the tank using suitable equipment. - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).. - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (left).. Drain the brake fluid using a suitable syringe. - 4450B13 rear wheels(2) r r . 1. Disconnect the connection on the rigid pipe from connector to rear right brake, flexible pipe side.2. Release the rear brake caliper flexible pipes from the mounting brackets.3. Release the wiring for the rear wheel speed sensors on the mounting brackets.

1. Undo the nut securing the handbrake cable mounting bracket.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and nut (2b) and remove the heat shield (2c).

1. Position a hydraulic jack under the rear suspension crossmember.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and lower the rear suspension crossmember (2b), as necessary, using the hydraulic jack

1. Position a hydraulic jack under the fuel tank.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and lower the fuel tank (2b) as much as necessary.

1. Disconnect the connection on the rigid pipe from connector to rear right brake, rigid pipe side.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the brake pipe mounting brackets (2b) from the bodywork.3. Remove the rigid pipe from connector to rear right brake.

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit in its seating the rigid pipe from connector to rear right brake.Fit the brake pipe mounting brackets to the bodywork and secure with their bolts.Connect the rigid pipe from connector to rear right brake, rigid pipe side, and tighten its connector to the specified torque.

Refit the fuel tank in its seating and secure with its bolts.Remove the hydraulic jack from under the fuel tank.1. Replace the rear suspension crossmeber (1a) in its housing using the hydraulic jack (1b) and fix it tightening the bolts (1c) to the recommended torque.

Remove the hydraulic jack from under the crossmember.

Fit the heat shield and secure with its bolts and nut.Tighten the nut securing the handbrake cable mounting bracket.Fix the wiring for the rear wheel speed sensors to the mounting brackets.Fix the rear brake caliper flexible pipes to the mounting brackets.Connect the rigid pipe from connection to rear right brake, flexible pipe side, and tighten its connector to the specified torque.
