3309524 - E3051 ELECTRIC REAR WINDOWS - Description
Description
The rear door electrically-operated windows can be operated by
switches on the front driver's door or switches located on each
of the rear doors.Operation of the rear electrically-operated
windows is manual (the window is raised/lowered only when the switch
is pressed). For safety reasons, a special lock switch
on the front driver's door cuts off power to all switches to prevent
accidental activation from the rear seats, e.g. when children are present. The rear electrically-operated window circuit
is protected by two special fuses, and controlled by a relay that
supplies other ignition key-operated services. The fuse is located inside
the junction unit, and the relay is located on the right hand side
of the facia. The rear electrically-operated windows will
work only when the key is turned to MAR.The control switch symbols are lit when
the key is turned to MAR.
