3314496 - 2125C22 gear lever and mount - r r

Removing ( Refitting ) Proceed with removal  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and move aside the coolant reservoir (1b). 1. Disconnect the gear selector cable.2. Disconnect the gear engagement cable.3. Remove the retaining clips (3a) and release the gear selector and engagement cables (3b) from the mounting bracket. Proceed with removal  - 7040L20  tunnel trim - r r . 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and the nuts (1b) and move the support and gearbox manual control lever (1c) backwards, as necessary.2. Remove the circlip (2a) and disconnect the gear selector cable (2b).3. Disconnect the gear engagement cable.4. Remove the safety clips for the gear selector/engagement cables.5. Remove the gearbox control lever and support. Refitting ( Removing ) Place the gearbox manual control lever and support in its housing, taking care to insert the gear selector/engagement cables in their housings.Fix the gear selector/engagement cables using the clips.Connect the gear engagement cable.Connect the gear selector cable and fix it using the circlip.Tighten the nuts and bolt fixing the manual control lever and support.Connect the end of the gear selector cable.Fasten the gear selector cable to the mounting bracket using the retaining clip. Connect the end of the gear engagement cable.Fasten the gear engagement cable to the mounting bracket using the retaining clip.Refit the coolant reservoir and secure it with the bolt. .Proceed with refitting  - 7040L20  tunnel trim - r r . Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side).
