Proceed with removal - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . Proceed with removal - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with removal - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). 1. Disconnect the electrical connections for the starter motor.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the starter motor (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit the starter motor in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

Connect the electrical connections to the starter motor. Proceed with the refitting - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with the refitting - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (Left side). Proceed with refitting - 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r . Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
