3308583 - B10 ENGINE DOES NOT START / UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES

The engine does not start. When the key is turned, the instruments light up, the starter motor turns, but the engine will not start.

Then check:

  • that there is no water, other fluid or dirt in the fuel tank
  • the state of the spark plugs and leads
  • the condition of the air intake circuit
  • for a possible obstruction in the catalyzer

  • the i.e. failure warning light comes on for about 4 seconds and then goes out.
  • the CODE warning light comes on for less than a second and then goes out
