Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Make sure that the ignition is OFF (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op.   5530B10  battery - r+r ).

Remove the foam protection.1. Undo the nuts fixing the rear shock absorber to the bodyshell. 1. Release the rear brake caliper flexible pipe from the backet.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and move the rear brake caliper (2b) from the bracket.3. Remove the rear brake pads.4. Undo the bolts fixing the rear shock absorber to the hub strut. 1. Position a hydraulic jack under the rear suspension crossmember.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and lower the rear suspension crossmember (2b), as necessary, using the hydraulic jack 1. Remove the rear suspension spring/shock absorber assembly (1a), complete with spacer (1b). Refitting ( Removing ) Replace the rear suspension spring/shock absorber assembly, complete with spacer, in its housing.1. Replace the rear suspension crossmember (1a) in its housing using the hydraulic jack (1b) and fix it tightening the bolts (1c) to the recommended torque.

Remove the hydraulic jack from under the crossmember. Tighten the bolt fixing the shock absorber to the hub strut to the recommended torque.

1. Compress the rear brake caliper piston (1a) using the tool (1b) to facilitate the refitting of the bake caliper.

Replace the rear brake calipers, complete with new pads, in their housings and tighten their bolts to the specified torque.

Fix the rear brake caliper flexible pipe to the bracket.1. Tighten the nuts fixing the rear shock absorber to the bodyshell to the recommended torque.

Connect the battery terminal (-).Remove the car from the ramp. Check and if necessary adjust the wheel geometry values  - 4450A40  rear wheel geometry - check using optical equipment .
