) Make sure that the ignition is OFF (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op. 5530B10 battery - r+r ).

2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the air conditioning compressor electro-magnet coupling.

3. Disconnect the earth lead from the ignition coils mounting bracket.

Release the electrical wiring from the bands on the tappet cover and move it aside.

1. Disconnect the high tension leads (1a) fromt he spark plugs using the tool (1b).

Undo the bolts fixing the ignition coils mounting bracket to the tappet cover.1. Remove the support plate complete with ignition coils and high tension leads.

Disconnect the high tension leads from the coils and remove them.Undo the bolts and remove the ignition coils from the mounting bracket.

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the ignition coils on the mounting bracket and fix them using the bolts.Connect the high tension leads to the ignition coils.Place the support plate, complete with ignition coils and high tension leads, back in its housing taking care that the covers are fitted on the spark plugs.Press on the ignition coils support plate to ensure that the covers for the ignition coils are properlyfitted on the spark plugs.Tighten the bolts fixing the ignition coils mounting bracket to the tappet cover.Press on the spark plug lead covers so that they fit properly on the spark plugs.Place the electrical wiring back in its housing and fix it using the bands.Connect the earth lead to the ignition coils mounting bracket.Connect the electrical connection for the air conditioning compressor electro-magnet coupling.Connect the electrical connections to the ignition coils. - 1016A40 ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r .
