) Position the vehicle on the lift. Make sure that the ignition is off (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op. 5530B10 battery - r+r ).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the Lambda sensor.

- 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . 1. Undo the nuts and disconnect the exhaust pipe attachment to the engine/manifold from the exhaust pipe.Remove the engine outlet exhaust pipe gasket.2. Undo the nuts (2a) and remove the exhaust pipe rigid support (2b).3. Undo the bolt (3a) for the exhaust pipe rigid support (3b).4. Undo the bolts (4a) and remove the exhaust pipe attachment to the engine/manifold (4b) complete with Lambda sensor.Remove the catalytic converter front gasket.

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Fit the exhaust pipe attachment to the engine/manifold (1a), complete with gaskets, and fix it to the catalytic converter tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Fix the rigid exhaust pipe support (2a) using the bolt (2b).3. Fit the rigid exhaust pipe support (3a) and fix it to the crankcase sump using the nuts (3b).4. Tighten the nuts fixing the exhaust pipe attachment to the engine/manifold to the exhaust manifold to the recommended torque.
