Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Disconnect the end of the accelerator cable (1a) from the accelerator pedal (1b). 1. Disconnect the end of the accelerator cable (1a) from the butterfly casing integrated with the M.D.S. and remove the complete cable (1b) from the engine compartment bulkhead. Refitting ( Removing ) Connect the end of the accelerator cable to the butterfly casing integrated with the M.D.S. and fit the fairlead in the special opening in the engine compartment bulkhead.

Ensure that the route of the accelerator cable does not involve sharp bends or interference with moving parts.

Connect the end of the accelerator cable to the accelerator pedal.1. Adjust the accelerator cable (1a) using the clip (1b) so that with the pedal released the butterfly is completely closed and the cable clearance "H" is 5mm. Check that the end travel stop on the throttle body is in contact when the pedal is fully depressed (throttle open).If not, adjust the accelerator pedal travel stop.
