1. At the bench, undo the bolts (1a) and remove the gearbox input
shaft cover (1b), complete with gasket.
Refitting

Fit the gearbox input shaft cover, complete
with gasket, and fix it using the bolts. | The matching surfaces of the main shaft cover and the thrust bearing should be lubricated with Molycote PG 21 type grease. |
