Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp. Make sure that the ignition is OFF (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op.   5530B10  battery - r+r ).

(right)  - 7055B39  front additional wheel arch half (one), lh or rh, front element - r r (right and left)  - 1092G10  single engine belt r r . 1. Undo the two nuts for the bolts fixing the air conditioning compressor. 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and the bolt (1b) and remove the heat shield (1c) from the left cylinder head exhaust manifold. 1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the air conditioning compressor electro-magnet coupling.

Remove the fixing bolts, move the air conditioning compressor to the side and fix it, as appropriate. - 1008C10  power unit upper reaction link r r .  - 7055A43  central front grille - r r .  - 7055A41  RIGHT FRONT GRILLE - R.R. .  - 7055B10  Front BUMPER - R.R. . Undo the bolt and remove the front bumper mounting bracket to allow the power unit supporting tools to be correctly positioned.Fit a suitable engine mounting bracket on the left cylinder head.1. Fit the safety tools (1a), (1b) and (1c) for supporting the power unit.

1. Undo the nut fixing the timing side rigid engine support to the flexible mounting. 1. Loosen the bolts fixing the gearbox side flexible mounting to the front suspension frame. 1. Loosen the nut fixing the power unit rigid support to the flexible mounting. 1. Undo the bolt fixing the power assisted steering pump mounting bracket to the timing side rigid engine support.Raise the power unit using the rod for the supporting tools until the timing side rigid engine support is released from the flexible mounting.2. Undo the nuts (2a) and remove the timing side rigid engine support (2b). Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Fit the timing side rigid engine support (1a) and fix it tightening the nuts (1b) to the recommended torque.

Place the power unit back in its housing using the supporting tools.2. Tighten the bolt fixing the power assisted steering mounting bracket to the timing side rigid engine support. 1. Tighten the nut fixing the power unit rigid rear support to the flexible mounting.

1. Tighten the bolts fixing the gearbox side support flexible mounting to the front suspension frame to the recommended torque.

1. Tighten the nut securing timing side rigid engine support to the flexible mounting to the recommended torque.

Remove the safety tools used for supporting the power unit.

Undo the bolt and remove the engine mounting bracket from the left cylinder head.Fit the front bumper mounting bracket and fix it using the bolt. - 7055B10  Front BUMPER - R.R. .  - 7055A41  RIGHT FRONT GRILLE - R.R. .  - 7055A43  central front grille - r r .  - 1008C10  power unit upper reaction link r r . Place the air conditioning compressor back in its housing and support it with the two bolts.Connect the electrical connection for the air conditioning compressor electro-magnet coupling.Fit the heat shield for the left cylinder head exhaust manifold and fix it using the bolt and the nuts.1. Tighten the nuts fixing the air conditioning compressor to the recommended torque.
