) Position the vehicle on the lift. - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right). - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right). - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . - 1076B70 exhaust pipe between pre-catalytic converter and catalytic converter - r r . - 1080B40 catalytic pre-converter - r r . - 1064A48 sleeve connecting rh exhaust manifold and turbocharger flange - r r and replace gaskets . - 1064A46 sleeve connecting lh exhaust manifold and turbocharger flange - r r and replace gaskets . Position a hydraulic jack under the catalytic converter.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the catalytic converter (1b).2. Remove the seal.

1. Position a hydraulic jack under the intermediate exhaust silencer.2. Release the intermediate exhaust silencer from the flexible mountings.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the intermediate exhaust silencer (1b).2. Remove the seal.

1. Position a hydraulic jack under the rear exhaust silencer.2. Release the rear exhaust silencer from the flexible mountings.

1. Remove the rear exhaust silencer.

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the rear exhaust silencer back in its housing and fix it to the flexible mountings.Remove the hydraulic jack from under the rear exhaust silencer.1. Fit the intermediate exhaust silencer (1a), complete with seal (1b), and fix it tightening the bolts (1c) to the recommended torque.

Fix the intermediate exhaust silencer to the flexible mountings.Remove the hydraulic jack from under the intermediate exhaust silencer.1. Fit the catalytic converter (1a), complete with seal, and fix it tightening the bolts (1c) to the specified torque.

Remove the hydraulic jack from under the catalytic converter.

- 1064A46 sleeve connecting lh exhaust manifold and turbocharger flange - r r and replace gaskets . - 1064A48 sleeve connecting rh exhaust manifold and turbocharger flange - r r and replace gaskets . - 1080B40 catalytic pre-converter - r r . - 1076B70 exhaust pipe between pre-catalytic converter and catalytic converter - r r . - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right). - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right). Remove the vehicle from the ramp.
