3314151 - 1076B26 intermediate exhaust silencer - r+r emission control versions (Automatic transmission)

) Place the vehicle on a ramp.1. Position a hydraulic jack under the intermediate exhaust silencer.2. Release the intermediate exhaust silencer from the flexible mountings.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the intermediate exhaust silencer to the catalytic converter.2. Undo the bolts fixing the intermediate exhaust silencer to the rear exhaust silencer.3. Remove the intermediate exhaust silencer.4. Remove the seals.

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Place the intermediate exhaust silencer (1a), complete with seals (1b), back in its housing and fix it tighten the bolts (1c) and (1d) to the recommended torque.

Fix the intermediate exhaust silencer to the flexible mountings.Remove the hydraulic jack from under the intermediate exhaust silencer.Remove the vehicle from the ramp.
