3314636 - 4130B10 power steering fluid resevoir r r (Automatic transmission)

Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right).  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right). 1. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir and drain the fluid using a suitable syringe.
 - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (right).  - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. (right). 1. Disconnect the feed pipe from reservoir to power steering pump, reservoir side.2. Disconnect the return pipe from heat exchanger to reservoir, reservoir side.
1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the steering fluid reservoir (1b) after releasing it from its mounting bracket.
Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the power steering fluid reservoir, position it on its mounting bracket and secure with its bolt.Connect the return pipe from heat exchanger to reservoir, reservoir side.Connect the feed pipe from reservoir to power steering pump, reservoir side. - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. (right).  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (right).  - 7040D14  engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right).  - 7040D12  engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right). Fill the power steering circuit with the recommended fluid.

Bleed the power steering system as described belowWith the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off turn the steering wheel to full lock, left and right, 4-5 times. Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir. Remove the car from the ramps.Start the engine and carry out 4 - 5 full steering wheel turn cycles (right and left). Top up the fluid level in the reservoir.
