) Position the vehicle on the lift. Make sure that the ignition is off (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op. 5530B10 battery - r+r ).

Rotate the crankshaft until the marks engraved on the camshafts line up with those on the relevant bearing caps (1st cylinder at T.D.C.).

1. Slacken the bolts (1a) securing the moving timing belt tensioner and remove the timing belt (1b) from the driven pullies.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the right head driven pulley (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the left head driven pulley and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

Fit the timing belt and carry out the timing (refer to op. 1032B14 toothed timing belt - r + r for timing adjustment or replacement versions with air conditioner ). - 1032D12 timing system protective cover(s) - r + r . - 1092G20 engine component single belt fixed tensioner - one - r + r . - 1092G14 engine component single belt mobile tensioner - r + r . - 1092G10 single engine belt r r . - 4130B10 power steering fluid resevoir r r . - 7055B42 Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. (right). - 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. (right). - 1016A36 left hand and right hand cam cover - r+r . - 1072B50 sleeves connecting air capacity box to inlet manifold is - r+r . - 7040D14 engine bay rear side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right). - 7040D30 engine bay front beam cover - r r . - 7040D12 engine front side cover (one) lh or rh - r r (right and left). Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the vehicle from the ramp.
