3314273 - 1072C34 r/h exhaust manifold - r + r and replace seal (Automatic transmission)

) Position the vehicle on the lift. Make sure that the ignition is off (STOP position), then disconnect the negative battery terminal (refer to op. 5530B10 battery - r+r ).

1. Disconnect the fuel/oil vapour recirculation pipe from the hose between the flow meter and the turbocharger air inlet pipe.

1. Disconnect the fuel/oil vapour recirculation pipe from the air chamber.2. Disconnect the oil vapour recovery pipe from the separator.3. Undo the bolts fixing the oil vapour separator to the mounting bracket.Release the electrical wiring from the attachments on the air chamber.

1. Disconnect the condensation oil recovery pipe from the oil vapour separator.2. Remove the oil vapour separator, complete with pipes.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the oil vapour separator mounting bracket (1b).2. Undo the bolt (2a) and remove the plug lead mounting bracket (2b).3. Undo the bolts (3a) and nuts (3b) securing the right exhaust manifold.

- 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . - 1076B70 exhaust pipe between pre-catalytic converter and catalytic converter - r r . - 1064A44 left hand or right hand sleeve (one) joining left hand or right hand cylinder head to turbocharger - r+r (right). 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the power steering box guard (1b).

Undo the nut and remove the exhaust pipe rigid support (refer to op. 1076A32 exhaust rigid mount - r r ). 1. Remove the right exhaust manifold complete with heat shield and gasket.

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the right exhaust manifold back in its housing, complete with heat shield and a new gasket. Fit the rigid support for the exhaust pipe (refer to op. 1076A32 exhaust rigid mount - r r ). Fit the power steering box guard and fix it using the bolts. - 1064A44 left hand or right hand sleeve (one) joining left hand or right hand cylinder head to turbocharger - r+r (right). - 1076B70 exhaust pipe between pre-catalytic converter and catalytic converter - r r . - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . Tighten the nuts and bolts securing the right exhaust manifold to the specified torque.

Fit the plug lead mounting bracket and fix it using its bolt.Fit the oil vapour separator mounting bracket and fix it using its bolts.Place the oil vapour separator back in its housing and connect the condensation oil recovery pipe.Fix the electrical wiring to the bands on the air chamber.Tighten the bolts securing the oil vapour separator to the mounting bracket.Connect the oil vapour recovery pipe to the separator.Connect the fuel/oil vapour recirculation pipe to the air chamber.Connect the fuel/oil vapour recirculation pipe to the hose between the flow meter and the turbocharger air inlet pipe.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Remove the vehicle from the ramp.
