Removing ( Refitting )

Use the proper tools and take care when disassembling to prevent damage to mechanical and electrical components.

Remove the seat belt protective guard on the outer shield.1. Unscrew bolt (1a) securing seat belt (1b) to the seat. Move the seat fully back.1. Undo the front seat anchorage bolts. Move the seat forward to the end of its travel and lift fully.1. Unscrew the rear seat anchorage bolts.Tilt the seat back to gain access to the connections for the passenger presence sensor (if present), heat pad (if present) and seat adjustment motor supply.With the ignition key in the stop position, disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refitting ( Removing ) Postion the seat in its housing in the car.
