Undo retaining tabs (1a) to remove head retaining pin fitting bushes (1b).2. Cut the fasteners from the squab trim lower area.3. Undo the lower trim tensioning link by releasing from the slots on the squab base.4. Withdraw the lower retaining rod from the trim.

1. Pull up plastic sections (1a) from seat frame (1b) retaining the left and right hand side trim. Pull away plastic section (1a) of the upper squab trim section.Take the trim off the front part of the seat.2. Cut the fasteners shown.3. Remove the trim

Refitting ( Removing

) Examine the trim to check it is in good condition.Fit the trim and secure to the front part of the trim using new fasteners.

Fit the trim to the padding.Position the upper trim section.Position the side trim sections.Mould the trim by hand.Position the lower section and secure using new fasteners.

Fit the head retaining pin bushes.

If the old bushes are refitted, lift the retaining tabs to ensure a perfect fit on the seat frame.

If the trim needs replacing, carry out the procedure described above but without fitting the head restraint bushes. Then proceed as follows because the new trim comes without any holes for the head restraint bushes. 1. Locate the head restraint guide seat position. 2. Use scissors to make cross-shaped cuts over the seats.

1. Press the trim in the area surrounding the seats until the upper edge of the seats is left uncovered.2. Insert bushes (2a) in their seats and ensure they are positioned correctly, i .e. reference tooth (2b) should fit inside the slot on the seats. Once it is fitted, ensure the bushes are properly connected.

If the old bushes are refitted, lift the retaining tabs to ensure a perfect fit on the seat frame.
