The anti-roll bar is connected
to the steering knuckles by means of two links with ball joints.
UPPER TRACK CONTROL ARM
The upper track control arm supports
the forces trasmitted to the upper part of the suspension. The use
of forged steel makes it possible to achieve high rigidity values,
in spite of the arch shape required to assist the housing under
the floor of the vehicle.
TOE IN CONTROL ROD
It can be adjusted and guides
the movement of the steering knuckle to which it is connected via
the flexible bush. It is the least stressed component, but its function
is vital in determining the rotations of the steering knuckel around
the elasto-kinematic steering axis.
VERTICAL CONNECTING ROD
The vertical connecting rod is
the element linking the steering knuckle and the lower track control
arm.It works mainly as a rod/strut through the
effect of the longitudinal and braking forces at the wheel. The connections with the lower arm and the
steering knuckle are made via flexible bushes designed to assist
the flexible retraction effect of the wheel centre.
